Searching for baiardo/biardo & Farace/faraci in altavilla

Looking for birth and marriage information on my grandparents from altavilla millicia. I only find records on sites like ancestry and family search After immigration to the U.S. I'm hitting dead ends. My grandfather was Salvatore Baiardo or Biardo born about 1888. He served in the Italian army in WW 1 and was a POW in Albania. His father was Joseph and mother rose (maybe carbone) . My grandmother was Sabastiana Farace/Faraci parents born abt 1896. Parents Joseph and Laura ( not 100% sure) Gave birth to a daughter Laura in altavilla.. This has been like a needle in a haystack I'm starting to feel as though they didn't exist. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Thank you so much how did you find this? I can't thank you enough... is there a way to find out if they had siblings.... Or to go further back and find rosa and Giuseppe and Laura and Giuseppe's parents? also can you please tell me the best way to find Salvatore's military history?

Thank you very much! I have looked on these same web sites with no success so I don't know what you did that is different but again thanks. Does the letter to the military need to be in Italian

My apologies but I have one further question.. The records for the bride and groom in the link above reference Giuseppe as bajardo... Not baiardo. How can I verify this is the same person versus a handwriting error as I did not think there was a j in the Italian alphabet. Also I'm surprised by the names Diego and Rosario . I did not think these were Italian names.
