Hello,
I am trying to look into the Ponti family of Foligno. I came across the Archivio di Stato di Perugia site which lists a bunch of records under Stato Civile for the Sezione di Foligno
http://www.archiviodistatoperugia.it/pa ... T0400036#n
Specifically it says at the very bottom "Registri parrocchiali - (1599 - 1861) - 182 registri"
Does that mean the Archive actually has all of the parish records for Foligno? Or is it just listing them as records that exist.
If they exist at the archive I feel like that would make things a lot easier to retrieve
Foligno, Perugia
Foligno, Perugia
TIP: When asking for records from Italy, do NOT ask for an "estratto." ALWAYS ask for a "copia integrale." A photocopy of the original Act will contain more information
