D'amore Montefalcione

Post by ghperino »

My wife's grandmother Marionanna D'Amore was born 16 Dec 1889 in Montefalcione. We are searching for her family roots in the Montefalione, Avellino, Campania area. Any information available would be greatly appreciated.
Marionanna's siblings were Olympia, Felice, and Elizabeth. All emigrated to the US in the early 1900s.

I did a quick search of http://poster.beniculturali.it/poster/action.do and found 9 D'Amore from Montefalcione. I do not see your GM name. I do not see any other on-line databases / microfilms on this town. Hopefully one of the more experience researchers can help.

Thanks for taking a look and letting me know. That genealogical upline has been the most frustrating of all I am tracking as so many of the American born descendants have passed away and family memories have been lost to aid in linkage.
Regards,
Tony

It looks like you can get the film of the civil records at a Family History Center.
