First Name: GiovanniAlso trying to find info on the parents of Giovanni Antionio D'Agostino born 1-12-1903 in Boston Mass. He married Gemma in Barcis on 2-23-1935. His parents were from Barcis as well. His mother was Maria Pavlone or Paulon and his father was Giovanni D'Agostino. Giovanni Antonio had one sister Domenica D'Agostin (Mamie). We believe she never married and think she was born 1901 and died 1963. Any info that I could recieve would be wonderful.

First of all, I don't think you are doing anything wrong.... the Ellis site has been a real pain in the "stern"...vaccher wrote:mfjp,
I was wondering how you found this information? I entered all the information that I had and could not find anything. Even now I entered the ship name, date he arrived and all the other info that I have and I still could not get anything. Am I a doing something wrong?
Thanks for your help.
I guess you can tell I am pretty new at this stuff.

Hi again,vaccher wrote:Maria,
What a gem you have been. I feel kind of silly although because I have been trying to look the same information up. You have the golden touch!
That has to be the right Gemma as her passport says she arrived in 1938. So you found this on Ancestry.com? I thought I tried that site. I was at Ellis Island this winter and was doing some research and one of the people that works there told me that I would have to look up Gemma on another site as she arrived in New York after 1925(I think that was the year). I had not looked it up yet as we just got the passport and birth certificates last weekend. (Cleaning out Gemma's house to sell).
