I am looking for the birth certificate for Raphaele Perri (1864), Carmela Petrone (1864) (Teresa Perri (1886). I think they were born in Cosenza someplace. Carmela is Teresa's mother and Raphaele is the father.

1888 Ancestry ship manifest for mother Carmela Petrone and daughter Teresa Perri. No town given. Lines 204-205. Do you know if Carmela or Raffaele had any siblings or cousins who also came to the states? We might be able to locate a birth town from those records.

A possibility but none of Raffaele and Carmela's children on NY census records I located show children named Michele or Saveria.

Hi there,

I have read your post as it came up when searching my great grandfather, I am looking for his birth place and eventually his birth certificate.

His name is Carlo Maccelari and was born about June - Aug 1875.

I have a lead that he was born in Venice but i am not sure - where can i check where he was born?

Any help would be amazing.
