Thank you! I meant to type "Giuseppa". Of the 4 parents, does it specify who was deceased, besides Luigi's father, Nicola?

On August 4 1877 Nicola Di Franco (2 words), 46yo, went to the town hall to present a male baby and declared that the baby was born the same day to his legitimate wife Giovanna Del Grosso (2 words). The baby was named Luigi

Thank you! I've looked for hours throughout the 1890s in Roseto Valfortore looking for the marriage of Domenico Ruggiero and Maria Rosa/Rosa Maria Palumbo, and I still have yet to find it!

I am looking for Emilio Ruggiero in 1897 births... and I found Rocco Ruggiero? He looks to be a son of Donato Filomeno Ruggiero and Rosa Emanuele. Is this right? Not sure what else it says by his name on the left. Was he living in 1976? Would someone please translate this too?! Thanks!!

I am sitting here with Giovanni Ruggiero's daughter and I just discovered that Emilio (her uncle) was apparently adopted! She never knew! I found the immigration manifest. Can anyone read the surname, if you have access to ancestry.com? ... If not, I can make a screenshot.

Page 62 of 1199... Line 10

I am looking for his birth record... he was supposedly born on 27 September 1897 in Roseto Valfortore. But apparently was not born with the surname Ruggiero! The surname I believe is on the manifest in the above link on line 10. It says he was a Pupil? Adopted son! The September 1897 Roseto Valfortore births begin on page 3248 of 3291 on familysearch.org... No luck yet! They may also be out of order.

Now it appears that Giovanni Antonio Ruggiero was the eldest biological child of Domenico Ruggiero and Maria Rosa Palumbo. He was born in 1905. Thus, I reckon now that Domenico and Maria Rosa likely were married between 1900 and 1905! Wow!

Thanks so much! Can anyone find the birth record of Amilcare Belaria? 1897, Roseto Valfortore, I'm assuming.

Hi Tessa! Would you please translate the above Pappano marriage record and are you able to find Amilcare Belaria's circa 1897 birth record? He was adopted by Domenico and Rosa Maria Palumbo Ruggiero. Thank you so much!
