Picardi from Genova

Does anyone know anything about the Picardi family from Genova that immigrated to Portugal? I've started researching this italian ancestor and all I know is his last name and city. I'd appreciate any information out there. thank you.

When did this family immigrate to Portugal? Try this link for those with the surname still living in Italy. You didn't really give us much to go on so this is the best I can do for now. Sorry.

Hello Nuccia,
Thank you very much for your reply. I don't have much to go on myself, just beginning to get the info now. I just know that a gentleman by the name of Picardi married my great grandmother in Portugal and adopted her children giving them his surname. It is still part of my maiden surname, but changed to "Picardo" over time. I will be getting more info from an aunt in Lisbon when I visit in July. So hopefully I will have some dates to follow up on. Thank you for the site, it will be really helpful once I have more to work on.
