chach1881: Yesterday I replied your email, about this your question.chach1881 wrote:Hey there, I am new to the site and it looks like an awesome site. I'm trying to do some research on my surname here and was wondering if anyone knows the pronunciation, origin, and definition of my last name "Ciaccia". The only thing I could find was what looked like a beach in Sardina called "La Ciaccia". I have and so has my family which is from Rochester, NY always pronounced our surname "Chacha", which doesn't seem right. Anyways, if anyone is willing to help me out with this, and let me know where you were able to find this information, it would be great. Thanks again to anyone who is willing to help me with this monumental task.
