Does anyone have access to historical Connecticut newspapers (especially the Hartford Courant and the Middletown Press) to find the obituary for this person? I'm interested in identifying her siblings.

I tried to access it directly, but couldn't get around the upgrade.

All the listings through Ancestry (which I can get the plain text for) were 1980 obits for Salvatore or 1999 obits for one of his relatives.

Her 1991 obit did not come up. Only the SS death index which listed her as "Minnie C Petruzzello".

Looks like someone with 'Publisher Extra' will need to chime in...

Yes, the dates matched. I was pretty sure that was her. I tried checking that name too, but nothing...

I used the 7 day free trial.
No paid Courant obit, just name and address in out-of-town headings.
There are obits for her husband and sister-in-law.
Middletown newspaper not included.

She was born in Floridia, Siracusa, per Salvatore's naturalization and married in CT in 1919. LDS has Floridia records.

Grew up in that part of CT, so only interested to that extent.
There was no obit for brother Angelo.
