Baldassare cicio birth 1767 but this is his death

what is confusing is they keep naming every generation Baldassare. BUT this one is age 83 at death with an estimated birth of 1767 BUT it says living with Crocifissa Romano. I guess she could be his caregiver at this age.
Please translate so i can see if the wording confirms that this is NOT his spouse anywhere.

4 October 1850: Baldassare Cicio died, aged about 83. He was the widower of Crocifissa Romano. He was buried in the church of San Michele.

but widower seems confusing as birth indicates it is generation before due to marriages, children, etc
i will place this on spouse of crocifissa

i have notated it on the referred person.
there are so many baldassares that it is rather confusing
i am just trying to determine the reality of the timeline. He did live a long time for that time to me.
