same day death leonardo montalione & vita montalione

Hello,
This record is on the Archdiocese of Agrigento website. Santa margherita di belice town- death- Folio 126.
record #'s respectively 144 and 145
Please translate as i am thinking this husband and wife died on the same day September 12,1874.
I also am not sure if victoria can be known as Vita.
I think it says he is age 80 and she is 78. i am guessing they were sick- Was there a epidemic at this time?
i know this record shows Montelione but other records show montalione. so i suppose the spelling is a guess. as well.

Is there any information to confirm i have the correct leonardo as i see another record for a leonardo Montelione for october 23,1872 folio 71 record # 314.

The death records are hard to confirm.

I doubt that Vita was Leonardo's wife. She died aged 1year and 8months

The Leonardo Montelione that you have dated October was actually Sept 23, 1872 (#314). He was age 7 at death.

the record 144. Please translate. Is it aged 80 at death? or any info that might help me determine if this is the leonardo montalione on my tree.
i guess i need to find the birth of the 2 children to determine if they are victoria and leonardo's children.

Just remember that, when the Sicilian church record is post 1820/1821, there should be a civil record which will yield more specific info. So always try to track down a civil record in that case too. Happy New Year.
