Im looking for the meaning of or the origin
of the surname "Barruzza". Cant find it in
any dictionary.

Closest I could find was Barrus, which is a derivation of Barrows:
Barrows
English: topographic name for someone who lived by a grove or an ancient burial mound.

Possible that the name was one of these. "F" "S" & "Z" were often transcribed incorrectly.
