I would like more information on my half brother who lived in Providence RI He was born in 1921 and enlisted in the army 11/10/42. He was killed in action. I do not know when or where he was killed and I do not know where he is buried. I would also like his parents names and any other information you may be able to give.

Do you know 1st name of father or mother, since he is a half brother?

You may want to check with the public library in Providence, they maybe able to come up with an obituary.

I checked it out.....Samuel (b. 1921) & Salvatore (b. 1922) are different people (different serial numbers).

Regarding the information on Samuel L. Mercurio, very quick reply. Thank you so much. Regarding relatives, his fathers name was Vito or Harry Mercurio, Mothers?? For sure he was born in RI. For sure he was killed in action. Tried research archives of Providence newspapes for Obit, but could not find anything. this is for JCSM since this information is the closest to what I am looking for.
