Thanks everyone for the info. I'm trying to sort this out. Any further info on Joseph? I located Paulne's death certificate, but nothing on Joseph. I also located Leila's obit. It listed an unmarried sister Beatrice and two other sisters, Mrs.William Caire and Mrs.T. O'Brian. Wonder which one's are these? I have no info on either one of the married sisters. thanks

Hi photobug,

There is a good chance that Lelia was born in Corsicana, Texas in abt Oct 1888. You may want to see about obtaining her birth records from the town clerk/city manager (?)....Here is the website for Corsicanna.

You stated that you got Pauline's 1928 death certificate. Did it provide town of birth information? Who was the informer?

Do you have any information on where & when Joseph Todora died? Jonesboro, LA (per 1920 census, found by vj)?

Oh and not all manifests are online & if you want them for town of birth information, when you should know that pre-1906 manifests do not show this information....same with pre-1906 naturalizations, although there are exceptions.

Thank you for your time & information. This will certainly keep me busy for a while. On Pauline's death certificate it lists her parents, Joseph Mangogna & Antoinette Messiha both of Italy. I also found Marie Caire, Leila's sister's death certificate. It lists her being born in Bryan, Texas. Maybe with these xtra names more info can be obtained. Another person of interest I'm looking for is John Robert Cannizzaro Sr. b. apr.9, 1942 d. aug. 1989. any info would be appreciated. thanks....Annette
