Faiello Family history

Post by nfaiello »

Looking for any information on the Faiello surname. I know that my great grandfather Vito Faiello came from Controne, Italy around 1910.

Hello and Welcome to the Forum :D !
Does this record look like it may belong
to your Vito Faiello?
Have you obtained any of his US records?
Are you primarily interested in US or Italian records?
How can we help?

I am interested in any Faiello family history from when they were in Italy. So far I havent had any luck, and I am not exactly sure how to obtain any Italian records.

Italian Record Research
A great resource is FamilySearch
from the LDS
Their Italian Research Guide is a terrific
starting point.
If the LDS doesn't have Controne, Salerno
microfilm records, this research guide can
be a big help in getting you started in writing
directly to the commune!

Really nice to see all this information is still available. We are the grandchildren of Yolanda Faiello and the great-grandchildren of Vito and Mary.
