I need help finding family roots

I have been trying to find my mother side of the family. I keep coming up empty handed every time. My grandfather's parents came to America on Apirl 4, 1907. I do believe my grandfather was born on the ship. My great grndparents are Emillo and Antoninina Cavaretta Satrape that is how it is spelled in the US (satrapi). Last known residents is Villabate. I do believe the last name has changed total. Nobody in the family knows for sure. The one person that does has passed on. If anybody can gave me any help or direction to look, I would be grateful.

Are you looking for US records on the Satrape family? I have located a 1910 and 1930 census record for an Emilio and Antoinette and family living in Pittsfield, Massachusetts as well as WWI and WWII Draft cards for Emilio. Do you have these or would you like me to post links to the images?

I've also found two Social Security Records (one for Emanuel--dob 1905 and one for Antonina--dob 1885 with last residence as Long Beach, California.

I looked at the passenger list for Emilio on 4/4/1907. It looks like he was traveling alone to Schenectady NY.

I also found a passenger list for Antonina Carravetta, who was traveling with her son Emmanuele (3yrs old) going to meet her husband Emilio Satrapi in Schenectady NY. Leaving her brother Filippo in Villabate. This list is for the "Luisania" arriving in NY on May 15, 1909.

The index shows Emmanuele as 34 years old, but the list says 3 years and he was going to his father in Schenectady.
