Need contact info off this Italian website...can't find

Post by jenalonso »

I do not read Italian very well. Can someone please look at this website & please tell me where I can reach someone (whether by email or postal mail) to request a search of their old records (from 1871)?

Much appreciated!

These are the email addresses given for questions, complaints and information. I don't know if they can help, but they should be able to direct you to the right resources. I think you had better make your request in Italian.

Good luck

Hi jennifer I believe that the surname could be NOSTRANO/MOSTRANO?, in and from Sant'Antimo town... I don't know if they have the records from 1871, but normally they have it inall commmons of southern italy... you can write here: http://www.comune.santantimo.na.it/ammi ... ttoreI.htm

Within the site is this link.......

http://www.comune.santantimo.na.it/modu ... azione.htm

It has all the request forms on line, looks like you can fill out the request form or forms and email them back to get your info.

nascita is birth, morti is death etc.

Someone more experience may want to check this link and correct me if I'm wrong.

Hope it helps.

no, no, this is the form for a certificate by itself, for exemple. I wish a residence certificate; I can ask it in the office or I can make by myself, by a my declaration, with all my data, that I'm resident in this town etc.. so for all certificates... and this obviously no for people born last centuries, but only for living persons, and because normally a certificate is necessary must be presented to some other office, eventually if this other office see a discrepance on the data on certificate( autodichiarazione, autocertificazione) made from a person and by itself, well in this case the control abt the data, it can be made by officers.... this is no right for you Jennifer... regards, suanj

Thanks Suanj....I had my doubts after reading it because it required a sworn statement and signature.

I will just write them an email. Thanks everyone!
