I am just getting started researching my Italian relatives. Does anyone have advice or information on the following:

Born January 6, 1877
Died April 5, 1942
Lipari, Messina, Italy
Arrive at Ellis Island on May 1, 1904
Citta di Genova from Naples
Father Giovanni Giaquinto
Mother Maria Rosalia Picone

Looking for surnames: D'Agostino, Giaquinto and Picone

Looks like you have already done some research on your family.
Are you looking for US records or Italian? You should have all your US documents in place before attempting to research overseas...it will be much easier.
Some things to consider:
Have you placed them on a US census?
Have you located naturalization papers if Applicable?
Do you have the SNN?
These are only a few things to consider but it will elp you get started.
