Cappelli, Limosani
Cappelli, Limosani
Trying to find information on Michele Cappelli from San Marco in Lamis, arrived in US in 1905. His wife Carolina Limosani also from San Marco in Lamis, arrived in US in 1912. Michele had brothers named Nicola, Matteo, and Pietro (may have been more siblings). Carolina may have had a brother named Pietro. When Michele arrived he went to PA, to OH, to PA, CT, to NJ, to OH (may be more moves, not sure). Carolina met Michele in OH (the first OH) when she arrived. Their children, Domenico (IT), Minnie (OH), Giovanni (PA?), Luigi (PA), Tommaso (OH?). They settled in Ohio in the early 20s.
Go to www.ellisisland.org for their entry information and then go to family history library of the ZMormon church nearest your home and rent micorfilm of civil records for Cappelli and Limosani family back to early 1809 to 1910. Covers all births, marriages and deaths. If you wish documents you can either make copies of microfilm or write to SDan marco in Lamis. Peter
