Hi Nuc cia how does this help people who wish to write to the Uffico Anagrafe or the Ufficio di Stato Civile which is often the case since your listing is for provincial offices which is a secondary source. It would be nice if we had a listing of all the comune(town) offices to whom we could direct people seeking documents or is there one in existence? =Peter=

Your link doesn't work for me. Can you have a look and see if its posted correctly? As for the resource page, I am currently working on several pages. The one I posted has served me and several others well..Its all about what you're looking for I guess. I found that when the primary source (ie: comune) doesn't have the records I want, sometimes writing to the archives helps since they often have a copy of what I want. Its up to the researcher to decide if they wish to use the information or not, right?

As for a comuni page..am currently working on the comuni in Reggio Calabria now..and another member is working on the Cosenza addresses and emails. It does take time!

Ok..link is working now..it redirected or something funky like that! I've used this site before and its good..unfortunately the email listings are not very complete or accurate (I don't think there is a site out there that is) but if you find one, let us know.

This is the site I normally use, but you need to know the region and the province to find the town. So you would click on Sicily, then Siracusa, then Carlentini.
