My grandfather Ercole Montagna died in Detroit MI in 63 or 64. I am trying to find out if I still have family here in the US and in Sicily. I think he was from Greto, Sicily.

I can't read well his last residence in Italy... It seems he was leaving in Italy his father Carlo in Girgenti (now Agrigento)... maybe some other member can help reading the exact town...
Was going to Rochester, NY to join his uncle Boscarino Giovanni.
His place of birth was Grotte (it's a comune in Agrigento Province, Sicily region)

I asked my mom and she says that sounds right. I cant find his death certificate we have but it has his parents name on it. His birth place is correct.

digit Montagna in "cognome" and Grotte in "dove"... you can see that actually there are only two persons in Grotte with Montagna last name....
Perhaps you could write them...
