Domino, Domini from Campania area

Post by lindsayxx »

I am trying to find anything on Biogio Domino and his wife Anna (maiden name Caruso) I believe there last name was changed from Domini to Domino when they arrived in the USA. I was told they came from the Campania area and they lived in Brooklyn or Queens NY and then later moving to LongIsland in Suffolk County. Anything information on them I would love. Biogio is my fathers Grandfather and I would love to know of more family. Or any information you may have. Thank you Very much.

Oh my, you're very welcome.
We're always happy to help folks find their families.
These records came from ancestry.com, a subscription site

We'll see if we can find what appears to be several ship
manifests.
If you want to give it a try, this is a pretty good free search
engine for NY arrivals:
one step Ellis Island

Another misspelled manifest found by
searching for the town Rofrano
using only first initial B & second initial D
immig between 1907 and 1913
born between 1883 and 1889
There are quite a few search options!

2nd trip?
Wife Anna Maria Caruso still in Italy

Hi everyone!

I'm the granddaughter of Dolores Domino - it's great to find this information online, and see that it's correct (they did live at that address in Corona, and those are my grandmother's siblings - she was the youngest).
I know that Mildred and Michael are still alive - they live in Long Island, NY.
One day I want to visit Rofrano and see where my ancestors came from!
I have some family pictures and more family information that my dad put together.

Lindsayxx - I think we're like 3rd cousins, so it would be cool to talk to you too!
