NAME PRONOUNIATION

WAS GIVEN A NEW NAME CONNECTION TO FUNAI FAMILY BY MARRIAGE
BUT ONLY VERBALLY THE NAME IS PRONOUNCED * RAZZI * AS IN RAZOR BUT DONT KNOW THE SPELLING OF IT --ANY NAMES THAT SOUND
LIKE THAT -- IM PRESUMING IT IS AN ITALIAN NAME

If it sounds like Razor, I would have to guess it would be along the lines of "razi" or "razie". In my experience, if it was spelled razzi it would sound like "RAT-ZIE", just as with pizza it sounds like "PEET-za" (notice the T sound).

Italian language is phonetic in that you spell it as it is pronounced. So if anyone said Razzi it would be pronounced as RAH-ZZEE and vice versa. Pizza would be pronounced as PEET or PEEZ-ZAH. =Peter=

OK THANKS FOR THE REPLIES - I WILL SETTLE FOR RAZIE AND TRY AND
GET MORE INFO BY THE WAY MY FAMILY TREE IS BUILDING UP NICELY
IVE COLLECTED A LOT OF PERSONALISED INFO BY VISITING TOWNS WHERE ANCESTORS LIVED AND SPEAKING TO THE OLD LOCALS THERE I
EVEN MET A WOMAN OF 91 WHO WENT TO SCHOOL WITH A RELATIVE AS
A CHILD AND HAD A SCHOOL PICTURE - SO IT PAYS TO DIG
