I have never been able to find much on this side of my family.
i would appreciate any help, to include a point in the right directions for records.
Here is what I know, and it doesn't go back very far...
There was Ponzianno and Concetta.
(I have no info on them other than names)
Their son Frank married Lucy DeSantis. (frank had a brother Biaggio, among others, but that is the one name I know)
Francesco Ferraraccio:

Pennsylvania, USA
Maria Lucinda De Santis
B: 18 Nov 1889
Troia, Foggia, Puglia, Italy
D: 22 Aug 1980

Their son John was my grandpa:
John F Ferraraccio (Siblings: Ponzianno, Sue, Anthony)
B:4 dec 1922
Dubois, Pennsylvania, USA
D: 1973

Ok, so "Troia, Foggia, Puglia, Italy " was listed in an ancestry.com database, and I have these records from Eliis Island:

Now, the story is, Biaggio/Biagio was supposed to come back... and when he didn't they sent my Great-Grandpa Frank to come get him:

Last Name: Ferraraccio
Ethnicity: Italy, South
Last Place of Residence: Troia, Italy

Age at Arrival: 29 y Gender: M Marital Status: M

GUESS WHAT? frank never went back either!
I would also be interested in info on the DeSantis line.
this is what I have for Lucy's parents:

D:1 Aug 1930

AND THAT is all I have!! I am try to find ancestors of course... but I also want to find as many cousins as I can... where did we all end up, that kind of stuff!

Re: Ferraraccio and Desantis
The civil records for the comune of Troia are available on microfilm from the Church of Latter Day Saints. Go to www.familysearch.com and follow the links to Library>LibraryCatalog>PlaceSearch and then type in Troia. The records appear to be quite extensive, including birth, marriage, death, processetti, allegati, pubblicazioni, and diversi from 1809-1929. They films can be rented and viewed at Family History Centers. You can find the one closest to you at the above website. You should be able to find your ancestors in these records. Once you constructed your family tree, you should be able to find present-day cousins.
