have you traced the origin of the Salvetti surname? Peter

The surname is derived from Salvi and as you say mostly in the Toscana region. I did not mean where the surname came from but rather its derivation from Salvi. Peter

YUou do not communicate well so I have noi way of knowing what is the best advice. If before 1862 you have to go to churche(s) in Caluso or after you can go to civil records. Have you tried the Family History Library of the Mormon church nearest your home..where do you reside by the way?? ...you might also want to try the www.familysearch.org website under ancestor searc. peter

The Mormon church in BA is located at Autopista Richieri 4 Puente 13

Caluso is in Piemonte near Torino and Lake Como is in Lombardia near the swiss border. They are separated by several hundred miles. Peter

I am looking for information on John and Theresa Falchetti. Theresa was (maiden name) Theresa Salvetti or Savetti). I only know her mother's name was Gabriella and they were from Caluso Italy. Is there any connection to your family?? Any advice is appreciated. thank you
