Baldasone is not listed in the Italian surname dictionary as a base name nor among the variations, alterations, abbreviations of similar sounding base surnames like Baldassarri, Baldi or Baldovini. It has no connections to any other names and is most likely a surname that is local in origin to one town,city or area in Italy and these localnames are oftimes based upon nicknames or occupations. In this instant case Baldasone does not even have a word dictionary meaning. I can only assume the meaning of the surname Baldasone is lost in the mists of time. =Peter=
