Caligiuri, Marasco, Capuane, Chiodo from Soveria Mannelli.

Post by BobC »

My grandfather Giuseppe Caligiuri was born in S. Mannelli, Calabria
on 9/14/1865.
His father was Michele, mother was Michelina Marasco.
Michele's father was Francesco, mother was Caterina Chiodo.
Michelina's father was Giuseppe, mother was Chiara Capuane.

Anyone know of living relatives in Soveria or elsewhere ?

Thanks

Go to www.paginebianche.it and put in the surnames (one at a time) in the first line and Soveria manneli Postale 88049 and Soveria simeri 88050. They appear to be adjoing towns so it may be possible there are relatives in both towns so try one surname and then the two towns. Each time you put in a surname and a town(either Manneli or Simeri) click CERCA for the listing. Peter

You may also wish to go to www.google.com and insert the surname of choice and the word genealogy alongside. This will give you the research being conducted on that surname by someone having that surname and may be a source of locating other relatives. Peter
