been a while and still haven't found anything new, i took a long break to take care of some other things, but im starting up again.

so how would i go about finding Fred's parents names?

well my father finally answered my e-mail...too bad it took a very nasty e-mail for him to respond....

my great grandfather's name was Fred Noce, he died in Zanesville Ohio.

thats all the info i have other than the marriage certificate.

i sent the info i needed to get the death certificate of my grandfather, but low and behold it did not have his ...

it says something about Poland, Ohio, but i don't know if that is where he was born or married.

i have yet to find any info that tells me his fathers name or anything of that sort

and it does give his social security number....is there anything i can use it for to get the info i need?

i signed up for the free trial, but the major problem now is i need his exact date of death, i don't know it. i did send my father an e-mail about a week ago and he has yet to respond to it, and i have a feeling he isn't going to respond.

it was the summer of my 9th grade year (1989)
so it was approximately 16 years ago.

how would i go about finding that obituary or the death certificate? keep in mind i no longer live in the state he died in (Washington State), i currently live in southern california

i know my father as born and raised in Wisconsin, but my grandfather was in the Airforce for a long time so there is no telling where he was born and raised

the problem is my grand father died about 12 years ago and i haven't seen my father in about as long. my mother knows nothing of my fathers family, so it difficult to research.
the thing i do know is we are all named Edward.
