The Sabini's from the London area came from Sicily, they mainly lived in Clerkenwell an area with a big Italian population from Parma..

Hi Saunj, I don't know where my great grand parents were married, Santini was my great grandmothers maiden/birth name, she married a Carlo Assirati, and lived in Clerkenwell London.
My guess is they married in around 1910 or maybe earlier..

John you will find big communities of Italian gypsys in America north and south, especialy Argentin, they migrated to Australia as well mainly Melbourne....

My family are from Bardi. Now i'm booked in to do an Italian language course, but my mum says my grandmother didn't really understand Italian, as she and her family spoke a ''Bardi Piacenza'' dialect very unlike modern Italian.
