Emigration to Argentina

Hi all,

I am searching for information on Virginio Pontoni (*1878 Variano, Udine) and his wife Smeriglia Benedetta Del Ponte (*1879 Variano, Udine). A family rumor say that they moved to Argentina possibly in the 20th. Any hints or ideas how to find the place where they moved to?
thanks

Parents of Michele Cusimano

Hi,
i am searching for the parents of Michele Cusimano, born at 22. April 1884 in
Casteldaccia, Sicily.
Unfortunately it seems that the Year 1884 is missing on the familysearch films.

Thank You

Two italian words

Hello,

what is the meaning of the words "messer" and "meriga" in this part of a document:

"Costitutio personalmente avanti di me Nodaro e sottoscritti testimoni messer Antonio Val, attuale meriga di Fontanafredda ..."

I think these words are furlan dialect.

Thank you
