Hello Frice, my great-grandfather Giovanni Casale lived on 266 Withers st. Brooklyn in the 1910 census and on 187 Withers st. in the 1920 census.
On the 1920 census my grandfather Cono lived on 187 Withers st. My grandfather did not have any brothers named Vincenzo but I do not know Giovanni's ...

Withers street in Brooklyn is a good address, so I must have been wrong about where he was born in Italy. This gives me so much to work with!

Giovanni (John) Casale

Greetings, I am looking for information on my Great-grandfather Giovanni (John) Casale.

He was born in Abruzzi Italy abt 1879. He shows up on the 1910 census as John Baptist Casale and on the 1920 census as Giovanni Casale. According to both US census he immigrated to USA in 1893.

Thanks Tessa, yes thats him.
He was a widower in 1920.
The 1920 census is the only information I have for him.
His children are: Pasquale, Alfred, Nicolina, Filomena, Alvera, and Emil. The census lists his occupation as carpenter in a shipyard.
