Re: Stanislao Gallo - Delia, Caltanissetta

For PippoM - The Stanislao Gallo you located is a relative of our family. His parents, Giuseppe Gallo and Girolama Lupo, are also the parents of my husband's great grandfather, Calogero Gallo. Perhaps when our Giuseppe came to Phila. he was visiting a cousin, Stanislao and not his brother, but his ...

Re: Stanislao Gallo - Delia, Caltanissetta

So sometime between 2-1906 and 1910 he traveled to U.S. That narrows it down. Wondering if he brought his family with him (wife was Rosa Gianforcaro). Now I'll add his 2 sisters to my request. Antonia Gallo born 9 March 1885 and married Angelo Pitruzzelli 28 March 1908. Carmela Gallo born 25 June ...

Re: Stanislao Gallo - Delia, Caltanissetta

While I'm still in the Gallo mode - I haven't been able to find death dates for Stanislao's parents - Calogero Gallo born 28 November 1858 to Stanislao Gallo and Antonia Falzone and Domenica Mancuso born 16 February 1859 to Giuseppe Mancuso and Grazia Riccobene. And, if possible, dates for their ...

Re: Stanislao Gallo - Delia, Caltanissetta

Thank you for your response. However, I don’t think it’s him. Father was Calogero not Giuseppe, date of birth was 2 August 1884 and he was born 6 April 1879, mother name incorrect (Girolama Lupo) should be Domenica Mancuso. Thank you again for your efforts. Gelen

Stanislao Gallo - Delia, Caltanissetta

Stanislao born 6 April 1879, son of Calogero and Domenica Mancuso. I have his birth, marriage and death info. What I was hoping to find is when he came to U.S. and then returned to Sicily.

His brother Giuseppe states on his ship manifest he's going to meet his brother, Stanislao in Philadelphia ...

Thank you for your response. I’ll check the allegati. Oh, my use of IG was not for an individual. It was Italian Genealogy and all the volunteers who have helped me over the years.

Re: Chiavone and Gallo

Ok, last effort. Resuttano deaths 1925 - I don’t read Italian but it looks like a reference to a 1918 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania death certificate with a name error. Same parents but first name is different (error) and Epifanio is noted. It’s #5 of Part II.

Re: Chiavone and Gallo

Farassino, in looking for Epifanio LaRocca Family Search has a death date of 7 November 1918 in Resuttano. Possible he went home and died there in 1918?

Chiavone and Gallo

This site has been wonderful for researching my husband Joe’s Sicilian families. I now have new info which I really need help with. Joe’s Grandmother, Maria Chiavone, born 25 July 1894 in Calascibetta, Enna, Sicilia, daughter of Liborio Chiavone and Maria Santa Salerno. Maria was the only child born ...
