Regretfully, not the news we wanted. We finally got a response back regarding Marianna Caccioppoli's marriage record request:

Yes, thank you! We looked up Vice Equense and found that St. Ciro is the town's patron saint. We never knew this, amazing.

Her father was Luigi. Her mother was Marianna. Her godparents were Francesco and Lucia.

Our grandmother was born in Vico Equense. she was the first born child. Her birth name was:
Fortunata, Anna, Rosaria, Ciro.

Can anyone explain back in the late 1800s Naples area, how they may have decided these names?

Update: As of current, we are still awaiting email response from Vico Equense Ufficio di Anagrafe regarding either a birth or marriage record for Marianna Caccioppoli. Marriage record indicated she married 1892 but no image is available on the Family Search Site.

Marianna Caccippoli (my great grandmother) married Luigi Capozzi (my great grandfather). His parents were Federico Capozzi and Agata Cinque. The very big mystery/brick wall is no information regarding the parents of Marianna Caccioppoli.
