Re: Angela Barrante

Geltrude Barranti and Nunzio Barranti were listed as two of Antonino Barranti and Giuseppa Parrafiume's children on their immigration record. In a different post, you wanted to find more information about an individual named Ignazio Barranti (who was born in 1892 and immigrated in 1899 with the ...

Re: Angela Barrante

On the passenger list that you found (from 1899), Angela Barranti was immigrating with her family to Erie, PA in order to be with her brother, Giacomo Barranti. She was traveling with her parents and some of her siblings. Her parents were named Antonino Barranti (born about 1849) and Giuseppa ...

Re: Looking for information on ggggmother Rose Crosetti

Ernestine and Genisio are probably the same people. However, further documentation from the U.S. would be necessary to confirm this assumption.

Re: Stagnitti ancestors in Catania

As mentioned previously, pre-1894 records for Castiglione di Sicilia are not currently available on FamilySearch. However, I was still able to find the birth records of some of Michele Stagnitti’s siblings (children of Giuseppe Stagnitti and Rosaria Massimino/Marcimino):

- Francesco Gaetano ...

Re: Luigi Sciabarassi and Marchina Rizzo

To my knowledge, pre-1866 records from Nicosia are not available online. However, I did some searching on Antenati in order to find some of Marchina Rizzo's siblings. It turns out that she had a brother named Francesco Paolo Rizzo. He was born on April 13, 1866 in Nicosia, Sicily to Don Francesco ...
