Post by WestAussie »

Hi Everyone

You will have to forgive me I am new to all this.I am looking for infomation on my crevatin side of my family.

My grandparents came to Australia by boat I believe the boat name was Oxfordshire and disembarked in Fremantle. They departed from Naples. With 2 young childern

There names were Adalgisa Crevatin born 30 Jan 1923
Ruggero Crevatin Born 1920
Renata Crevatin
Marcello Crevatin

I have always understood them to be from Italy Yugoslavia respectively. I was told they were from Triestie - Civitanova Marche.Ruggero was in the Navy with his brother Ferriciou..

Ruggero had a brother born 1922 Ferriciou and sister named Romilda born 1918.I believe his parents are named Victorio and Caterina

while Adalgisa has 3 brothers and one sisters.

Born 1924 mario
Born 1930 remigo
Born 1932 Rino
born 1934 Bruno

Her parents were named Maria and Giusepe known as Tony

I don't have many dates or anything just copies of arrival papers in Australia

I dont know much apart from that.

I hope someone can help me.

Hi
I know this is an old post .
My Nonna was born Crevatin from Trieste.
I think she was born around 1920 Zita Crevatin.
Drawing a long bow but there may be some connection.
She emmigrated to New Zealend after WW2.

Hi there,

I am also looking for information on my Crevatin side.

My Nonno Francesco Crevatin was born in Trieste August 27th 1936.
His sister is Palmira Crevatin still living in Trieste.
Their parents were:

Maria Crevatin
Francesco Crevatin- he was part of the Cabinere (police) in Italy

My nonno came to Toronto, Canada at age 18 approximately.

I am hoping for more information on Maria and Francesco. I am the great grand daughter.

Grazie.

Here is the 1936 birth index for Trieste:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... at=1860755

There no Francesco Crevatin mentioned. I also checked other spellings, such as Crovatin, Hrovatin.
Maybe he was born in town nearby?

Hi. I have seen a Palmira Crevatin in Australian record. Maybe they emigrated there. Hope it is the right one.
