re: atto di morte in caiazzo caserta
searching death records for husband and wife vincenzo pasquariello and filomena altieri, married in caiazzo in 1865. son domenico born there in 1866. being in their twenties they could have died anytime from 1866 up until the early 1900s. many years to cover. i checked www.antenati but no records go past 1865. just napoleonic and restoration. no civil italian records.it appears the italian civil records from 1866 on can be found at family search (no idea why they appear here but not at www.antenati) but unlike www.antenati theyre not broken into individual years which makes scanning through the grid views very time consuming. also no idea if any of these post 1866 death entries are indexed either by year or in 10 year indexes. is anyone out there familiar with these records? does www.antenati intend on releasing the post 1866 civil records for caiazzo? any help most appreciated.

Vincenzo Pasquariello passed on Mar 24, 1874:

It was easy to find, as it has been indexed.
He was the son of Giovanni, and Grazia Maddaloni, and had three living children

Re: re: atto di morte in caiazzo caserta
thanks very much. vincenzo died very young only 32 and wife filomena altieri survived him and possibly remarried so i probably need to go through many years to find her death. starting in 1875 and possibly continuing into the early 1900s. most likely in caiazzo. how did you find this so quickly? at family search you first have to find the films for the time period being searched ,in this case anytime after 1866 with the birth of son domenico. and the records of birth, marriage, and death may all be on one film. as you know, much easier to find at www.antenati,where records are broken down by category and year. but no civil records for caiazzo at www.antenati after 1865. so i need to start with atti di morte beginning in 1875 and go from there. hopefully all years are indexed. just need to find the films covering the time period from 1875 and possibly into the early 1900s.

Re: re: atto di morte in caiazzo caserta
went to family search. found a filomena altieri noted as wife of a vincenzo pasquariello. born in 1831 died in 1923 age 92. also see an entry for a filomena altieri married to a vincenzo pasquariello married in caiazzo in 1865. this is the correct marriage. she's born in 1839 in limatola. which filomena altieri is the correct one? no date of death given for the second filomena. could 2 filomena altieri's be married to 2 vincenzo pasquariello's?

Can you post the links to the records you found?

no idea how to do that. not techy. i just entered the name filomena altieri and came up with the results.it appears there were 2 filomena altieris married to 2 vincenzo pasquariellos. the correct filomena is the one married in 1865 to vincenzo pasquariello as the parents listed to the filomena altieri born in 1831 and died in 1923 are different. as i said no death date noted for the correct filomena altieri.

And...
According to this family tree, son Domenico Pasquariello was married in Boston in 1905.
So could Filomena have immigrated?

Re: re: atto di morte in caiazzo caserta
thanks. i have all that. still can't find death entry for filomena. husband vincenzo died in 1874 in caiazzo. possible she immigrated but not likely. in her 60s by 1905. most likely died in caiazzo or a neighboring comune. as she was only in her early 30s when vincenzo died she could have lived into the early 1900s or later. have to somehow go through all the indexes of morte in caiazzo for years. wish www.antenati had these records as i could search by category and year. much easier than family search. www.antenati ends in 1865. just napoleonic and restoration. no italian civil records.
