They told me you need to renew a third time for it to be permenant. I havn't yet decided what I want to do. I have an incredibly woven web of a family from Levico that I could probably spend years doing research on to find out all the links. See, in my grandmothers family, both of her parents are from south Tyrol. But they met here in America. Her father and mother divorced in 1920. Her mother remarried. I believe her father and stepfather are somehow related. The father was from Levico Terme and the stepfather was from Barco di Levico. In the Levico area, I am researching these surnames:
Froner, Andreatta, Libardi, Ell, Avancini, Ognibeni, Pacher, Moschen, Valentinotti, Tonioli, Nicoletti,Libardoni.
These families all married into each other in Levico. Then, Froner, Andreatta, Libardi, and Tonioli emigrated to Highland Falls area of New York.
So, I have yet to make the connect between the father and the stepfather. When I go to the FHC I may renew it for another month, I dunno. I am waiting on two other films to come from Utah, and I currently have microfilm from the New York state library on Inter-library loan at my local library here in Florida (newspaper from the Highlands)
The newspaper "News of the Highlands" has very interesting news articles from 1905 to 1925 on Italians and Austrians ( Northern Italians) I will have to post some, the forum will definetly get alot of laughs.
