No, no others informations on the arrival manifest, just "Aunt Domenica Fusco - Villa Latina"... I totally agree with italysearcher.. here in Italy women retain their surnames even if married so I'm pretty sure that Fusco was her maiden name (or she wasn't married)...
I found no others traces for the others child of the Rinaldi's family:

(from 1920 census)
Nellie Rinaldi 15 daughter, born in Scotland (Nellie Tini)
Rosie Rinaldi 14 daughter, born in Italy (1930 census in Detroit)
Mary Rinaldi 10 daughter, born in Michigan
Dominic Rinaldi 8 son, born in Michigan
Louise Rinaldi 6 daughter, born in Michigan
Pansy Rinaldi 5 daughter, born in Michigan
Susie Rinaldi 10/12 daughter, born in Michigan

Do you believe possible that Gerardo brought them back to Italy after Giovanna's death?

Why don't try to contact the descendants of Nellie Tini in the U.S.? They must know for sure what's happened to the others children...
Found an interesting reference to a Dennis Tini son of Ray Tini (maybe Raymond :?: ) born in Endicott NY but raised in Detroit...

Maybe some U.S. member should help you better in the research of the living descendants of Romeo and Nellie Tini...

If this Aunt's father is known you can write to the Comune and request the fathers' family Certificato di Stato di Famiglia Storico which will contain the mother and all the siblings in the Aunts immediate family, date and place of birth for each. The form letter in Italian canbe obtained from the following website. http://www.angelfire.com/ok3/pearlsofwi ... tters.html

Mail to Municipio address found in the town website addressed to the Uffico di Stato Civile. (go to www.nonsolocap.it, put in comune name, click CERCA, click on name of town when it comes up with zip code and province intials and scroll down to Municipio.) =Peter=

In response to pink67's last post, I've no doubt this "Aunt Domenica" will be a relation somewhere down the line, as Giovanna's father himself hailed from Villa Latina. He was Benedetti Fusco, and his parents were Pasquale Fusco (1826-?) and Celesta D'agostino (1819-?). From the records I have, their children were:

Benedetto Fusco (1849-1927)
Rosa Fusco (1852-?)
Fortunato Giacinto Fusco (1855-?)
Gerardo Fusco (1858-1859)
Giovanni Fusco (1861-?)

So as you see Benedetto as far as I'm aware had only one sister, Rosa, who had no middle name, but may well have been known by the name "Domenica"?

Or maybe she was the wife of one of Gerardo's brother's and her maiden name was Fusco too... Italysearcher wrote that this is a very common last name there...
