I'm having a bit of a problem with this birth situation for Apollonia Mignano. I cannot decipher the handwriting on the birth record, regarding the status of the birth mother on the birth record below:

there seems to be an indication of a death? followed by non-parenti. The father's name Salvator so of Dominic is listed on this record as it is on the baptismal record below. That record describes both Salvator and Apollonia as di stato libero.
my assumption is that this is a child born out of wedlock but the mother did not survive childbirth. Is this a reasonable conclusion or is there another explanation?

on the first record-
the infant was born from his union with a woman to whom he was not married, or who was not a kin in any degree which would prove to be an obstacle to the recognition of the infant
the baptism records reads that the father was " of free state," which means he was unmarried
So, this child was born out of wedlock and the natural mother did not want her identity known
