So far I have NOT located Salvator or Thomas/Tommaso on any other census....found some that could be... , but in my opinion, it would be a stretch of the imagination...........


I did find this WW1 draft registration, date of birth using the 1930 census is off.......possible record for Thomas.

If the 1930 census is correct, Salvator/e would be born about 1897, +/-
a year.......and Thomas would be born about 1890, +/- a year......
these brothers? cousins? have been difficult to place on a census......

I was able to locate what seems to be a good fit for a manifest for Salvator/e....but nothing on Thomas/Tommaso.......

cleaning up my images now to see if I can get that manifest loaded....

Yes, I'd love to see / print the manifest.

Can you think of any way to find Salvators wife Minnie's maiden name? Or if her father is Pasqual Russo (or Rossi)? I think she is the sister of my great grandmother, Maria Russo (or Rossi), but until I get the film from LDS I really don't know.

Any tips on how to best read the microfilm? I've never looked at anything like that before.

Salvatore Manifest

Travelling with a Pasquale, 18, father's name Antonio (sound familiar to you) and he is going to New York. Salvatore, 16 is going to Connecticut. He lists his wifes name as carla (Am I reading that correctly?) 16 and married..what are we doing wrong with our kids??

Is Salvator's wife Carla or the name below that? Rosie/ Rosario? If it's Rose that makes sense because 'supposedly' that's the first name of one of my ggrandmothers sisters. Rose and Christina. But these names are from a very shaky personal memory of a very old man.

My ggrandmother Maria's father is Pasqual so it would make sense for there to be a son/cousin named Pasqual.

Age, date of birth about right, place is right........but married!!!!! 8O

If Salvatore married Minnie then who would Rose be? Was he married twice? I really think its Carla...by the way...Minnie is short for what? It has to be a nickname.

Not sure about the Pauline record now that I look at it. The kids are really driving me nuts..I need to be a lone to do this. Best time for me to research is at 3 am on a Saturday morning..no distractions.

Will need to figure this out....
