Re: i am researching my family decriscio
Wow! My name is Mike DeCriscio, and I've been working on tracing the roots back as well for the same two people for the last six months now!
Thanks to Biff for filling in some gaps!
My grandfather was Anthony DeCriscio, the eldest son of my great grandfather Michael who was also married to Florence. My grandfather died in 1976, and my father did not know too much about his side of the family. My father also recently passed, so he may pop up on an ssdi search.
I'd been searching in the wrong places because I thought he immigrated in 1910 (as noted in their 1930 census entry) - Tony, I can e-mail you that image if necessary. I really can't tell you how excited I am! Thank you Biff! I'm pretty stoked to be looking at a picture of my great-granddad!!
I'd like to speak with you if it's at all possible Tony, I'm wondering how we're related.

New here, first post. My name is Matthew DeCriscio, and the gentleman on the passport is actually my Great Grandfather. His son, youngest I believe, Salvatore, was my Grandfather. My dads name is Stefan. I still live in Altoona, along with a few other DeCriscio's. I'm glad I found this place, I've always wanted to know more about my family's history.
