1615 Monreale marriage

Post by cj11788 »

Hello,

Can you tell me what is written after Margherita and her parents.

"di coniglione", is this where she is from?

Thanks,

Chris

Hi there

I've seen references to Citta di Coniglione in books etc and what "I'm understanding" is that it is another name for the town of Corleone, which is about 16.5 km away from Monreale. This is just my thinking, someone else would need to verify. (Because Coniglione is capitalised, I would think that it would be a noun.)

Thanks Angela. I looked in the Corleone records and they are there.
