Hello, I am looking for information about an ancestor, his first and last name was "Carlo Pastorino" or "Carlo Pastorini, he was born approximately in 1848. I also know that he emigrated to Argentina, in the 1895 census he appears alongside my ancestor "Encarnación Estrada" , they had children but I think they did not marry, in that 1895 census document it says that Carlo Pastorino had already supposedly married Encarnación Estrada before, although I did not find any marriage certificate. I do not have the names of his parents, but in. In the 1895 census of my city I found a person with the same surname, born in 1843 in Masone, Genoa, Italy, called Tomaso Pastorino (Tomás Pastorino), as a result of this I found the marriage certificate and the names of his parents appeared. This Carlo Pastorino was born in Masone on 8 February 1848, and he is the son of Giovanni [Pastorino] and of deceased Domenica Brughera.

Hello Tessa78, thank you very much for responding and for all the information. I made a mistake, Carlos Pastorino married my ancestor Encarnación Estrada for the second time in Argentina. He had already been married before and I suppose it was in Italy, it could be with the woman you name.

Ciao Tessa78, scusa per l'inconveniente. Dopo poco sono riuscito a ritrovare l'atto di nascita di uno dei figli di Carlo Pastorino. In quel verbale si dice che i genitori di Carlo Pastorino erano Benedetto Pastorino (spanishizzato in Benito) e Domenica Bruzzone. Non so che città d'Italia fossero. Se potessi aiutarmi a trovare qualche informazione ne sarei grato. Saluti!

Qui, sulle pubblicazioni di matrimonio con Nicoletta Smirnio del maggio 1870, si legge che era figlio di Benedetto e di fu Domenica Bruzzone e che era nato a Masone l’8 febbraio 1848 proprio come ti aveva scritto il 7 maggio nel suo post.

La prima moglie, Anna Maria Arduino morì il 24 giugno 1869.
Nell’atto di matrimonio il nome del padre, apparentemente, era stato scritto erroneamente mentre il cognome della madre era poco comprensibile.

Dato che parlo spagnolo mi risulta difficile comprendere le scritte in italiano, motivo per cui non sono tornata a rivedere i dati che mi ha fornito Tessa78. C'è un modo per vedere se Nicoletta Smirnio è morta, perché Carlo Pastorino viaggiò in Argentina intorno al 1873. Ed ebbe diversi figli con il mio antenato, ma non si sposarono mai.
