I used this site for travel last summer and was pleased with the selections. I don't know anything about Caserta, execpt that the Royal Palace is a "must see." My Italian cousins said it rivals Versaillles.

Hi Holly,
It sounds like a well planned trip. I am excited for you and maybe a little jealous.
Prior to my interest in my genealogical roots, I had traveled to Italy 3 times. Now that I have so much info about my ancestral town, Santa Maria Capua Vetere, I am longing to go again. When we drove past the area of S.M., I had no idea of its importance to me. Now it is like a magnet.
I hope you enjoy and cherish every moment.
Buon Voyage.

Dedar Holly if you want to learn the language why not make arrangements to go back to Italy and enroll in either the Univeristy of Florence or Perugia (where I attended) and within 6 months you will be speaking fluently.......=Peter=
