Post by 5zoe16 »

Looking for family history locations or contact point in the above towns. The names are Divito, Castelgrande, Giordano, Gennario, and Sabino. Planning a trip and would like to locate history at any point available.

www.paginebianche.it and put in surname in first line and town in second line and click CERCA for persons who perhaps are potential relatives.

Go to www.nonsolocap.it and put in the names of the towns (one at a time please!) andf thenclick CERCA and when the screen comes up click onthe name of the town used and an adminstrative website for the town will come up. Any requests for documents should be sent to the UFFICIO DI STATO CIVILE at the address listed beneath MUNICIPIO. Inquiries are free of charge and wait is 4-8 weeks.

http://www.angelfire.com/ok3/pearlsofwi ... tters.html for form letters in Italian. =Peter=
