Alba Di Forli - redipuglia

My father who is 92, met an italian lady in Redipuglia at the end of WWII. He was in the British Army. Alba wrote to him later however he lost the letter. I would like to find out what happend to Alba and if there are any descendants. He is 92 so may be confused about the name however he insists this is what he used to call her, Alba di Forli. My father used to be in charge of rations for the soliders and he would get extra sweets to give the children in Redipuglia. Any help anyone can help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your help in providing this web site. I now have a new lead in that I literally translated my father's knowledge of the name for Alba as Del Foreli but am now pursuing Alba Del Friuli.
