Hi,
I am new to the site and just started in researching my Italian ancestors. The comune of Orsara di Puglia sent me a marriage act and I need someone to translate it for me.
Specifically I can't read the place name of the goom and his father's name.

I would like translation of what is taking place in the marriage act, all of it.
Names of the bride and groom, their parents, dates and places of all the people involved.

Any help would be appreciated

I see the location as Montaguto Avellino and the groom's father looks like Cirieco Schiavone.

I'm sure someone else on the forum will translate the whole document for you.

I took a look at Montaguto in Avellino and there are microfilm records available that can be ordered in at the Family History Center.

You may want to do a post on Italian Genealogy under Surnames, because there has been a lot of research done in the Avellino area.

I get a stack of old reserach inherited, letters,and records.
