Finding Occupations

Post by ForzaItaliaPgh »

Ciao tutti,

Anyone know how to search for the occupations of our ancestors? I think it will really help me connect with them to see what they did. Also, it would be interesting to see if we kept the same occupation for a length of time.

A family story is that my GG Grandfather was station master at the train station in Lucca, but I have no way of proving (or disproving this.) And I have nothing to go on for any generations past him.

Any ideas?

Grazie.

Then there is hope! Grazie maestra. Luckily, my town is pretty extensively microfilmed. I just have to get over to the family search center and see if any of my people are in there. Thanks.
