Can't Locate the Record of a Passenger Ship

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Can't Locate the Record of a Passenger Ship

Post by musaccosteve »

I researched on ancestry.com and was unable to find a record for his immigration and ship. A census report shows that he immigrated from Italy to U.S. in 1906. His name is Dominick Musacco and he was born April 8, 1874. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you,

Steve

Thank you very much for your help. Is there anyway you can send me a link with the manifest in its full print version. The link you provide, as you are aware, is expanded; it, however, does not print.

Does anyone know if Domenico is is another name for Dominick or could this be a misspelling?

This is an Ellis Island file...

if you drag the image into an email, you should be able to print it from there.

Domenico is the Italian version of Dominick

another option is to go to www.stevemorse.org

use the gold form and go the third option down on the list which says Ellis Island Manifests (aka Missing Manifests)

On the next screen put in the date March 22, 1906, then T715, roll 679, frame 262

Once the manifest comes up on your screen, you can right click with your mouse and save it to a photo program on your computer. You can then crop it, enlarge it, print it in sections, or basically do whatever you want with the image

I need to find information on my grandmother too.

On ancestry.com, it is noted that she arrived in the U.S. from Italy on August 8, 1913, as Teresa Musacco, on the Princess Irene, but I can't find the manifest. Moreover, it was noted on ancestry.com that her birth location was Cosenza. Any help of finding an image of the manifest would be very much appreciated, especially in the format provided by VJ earlier. My account with ancestry.com is expired.

Thank you again.

1913 manifest referenced above for Teresa Musacco is not for your Teresa since age/year of birth does not match and this one is the wife of Francesco Musacco.
