My grandfather Raffaele Scotto D'Abusco was born around 1988 in Naples. He came to the United States on August 10, 1926. I am wondering if there are any relatives on this site.

Your Grandfather according to the ships manifest on page 2 was born in Monte di Procida in the province of Naples the region of Campania so if you want to research more you can try writing to comune of Monte di Procida

the site Familysearch.org has online the civil registration for the town of Monte Di Procida...
I believe this could be Raffaele Scotto D'Abbusco birth act as I noticed that on the 1913 arrival manifest he stated his father's name was Daniele:

Birth act number 163 year 1887 - Monte di Procida

Scotto D'Abbusco Raffaele was born on 20 december 1887 , he was son of Daniele Scotto D'Abbusco age 31 and of Teresa Vicidomini.

Marriage annotation:
Raffaele Scotto D'Abbusco married Rosa Scotto Di Marzo on 14 march 1921 in Monte di Procida

Death annotation:
Raffaele scotto died in Brooklyn (USA) on 21 march 1936

Thank you for that info. It is my understanding that my grandfather came to the U.S. on August 10, 1926. I have been told he died in 1963. I'll have to dig further.

Great find Laura!! Took a quick look here is the Marriage act of Daniele Scotto D'Abbusio age 29 profession?? and Tersa Vicidomini age 26 profession seamstress date July 24 1885 more info on the record of the parents of both and witnesses to the act
Catherine if you go through the records looks like indexes on the last pages of the year of the records

He stated that he was married and he was leaving his wife Maria in Monte di Procida. He was before in the U.S. (from 1913 since 1920 in NY) and he stated also that he was joining his cousin Gennaro Schiano Lomorello living on 109 Nelson street Brooklyn

This is the 1913 arrival manifest that I believe it was the first arrival in the U.S of this Raffaele D'Abbusco:

June 19, 1913
Scotto D'Abbusco Raffaele, age 25, single, from Monte Di Procida to NYC (leaving in Monte Di Procida his father Daniele), occupation sailor, joining his cousin Ippolito Vincenzo in Brooklyn, Union street.

Laura: Yes that is him. He was born on 10/23/88 and died in June 1963. He could not have been the one on the 1926 manifest because my dad (born in 1922) and his siblings were born in the U.S. That was my mistake. My dad remembers his birthday was October 23 (because his is October 22) but couldn't remember the year. After all, my dad is 88!!
